The Golden Jubilee of Bunayat Special Education Centre

Under the patronage of HRH Prince El Hassan bin Talal and HRH Princess Sarvath El-Hassan, Bunayat Centre for Special Education celebrated its 50th anniversary under the umbrella of the Muslim Young Women’s Association.
During the ceremony, Princess Sarvath El-Hassan, founder and honorary president of the centre, expressed her pride in the centre’s achievements and highlighted the dedication of its founders, staff, and supporters in serving students with intellectual disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder through education, training, vocational rehabilitation, and inclusion.
The event featured a student performance celebrating courage and positive change, as well as a presentation showcasing the centre’s milestones, growth, specialised programmes, and community partnerships that have positively impacted the lives of more than 1,360 students over the past five decades.
HRH Princess Sarvath also honoured the centre’s founding members and a number of pioneers, administrative board members, employees, and supporters who have contributed to the development of its services throughout its 50-year journey.
